As the new academic year begins, I assume the role of the sixth Principal of Kit Sam Lam Bing Yim Secondary School with a heart full of gratitude and joy. Reflecting on our school's development, I am deeply thankful to Supervisor Sister Poon and former Principal Dr. Lau Yiu-hung for their outstanding leadership over the years. Under their guidance, the school has rooted spiritual education in the Gospel spirit, actively promoted self-directed learning, and established diverse platforms to foster student potential—laying a solid educational foundation.

 

Our achievements today are equally indebted to the professionalism and selfless dedication of our entire staff. Our teaching team not only possesses solid academic strength and continuously pursues professional growth, but also leads by example to foster a positive and caring campus atmosphere. With boundless love and patience, our teachers tailor their guidance to nurture the learning and spiritual needs of every student. I promise to walk alongside this passionate team, carrying forward our fine traditions and leading the school steadily forward.

 

I also wish to extend my sincere gratitude to all parents for your enduring trust and support. Education is never a one-way transmission; it is a journey walked together by home and school. It is through your understanding and cooperation that we can create a growth environment filled with love and security, enabling our daughters to thrive under caring guidance.

You possess pure and kind hearts, demonstrating respect and care for others daily while actively helping one another and serving the community. You are responsible, self-disciplined, and face your duties to family and society with perseverance and optimism. In your studies, you hold a keen curiosity and passion for learning, employing independent thinking and critical analysis to discern right from wrong while respecting cultural diversity. These qualities are the fruitful rewards of whole-person education.

 

Every Kit Sam daughter is a treasured gem of our school. We firmly believe that education is a sacred mission of "touching lives with lives." The teachers and I will always listen to your voices, support you through challenges, and help you unlock your potential, making this a second home where you truly feel a sense of belonging.
